Abstract: |
The development of a Fishing-based industry in Indonesia in addition to having a positive impact on economic growth, generating foreign exchange and providing added value and employment, also has a negative impact, one of which is waste. The waste can be in the form of organic waste and inorganic waste in the form of liquid, solid or gas. The high activity of Fishing in Indonesia will certainly produce waste from the catch which will cause environmental pollution if it is not processed or utilized first. In fishing activities, unwanted fish are usually caught or commonly called "bycatch" or trash fish. The waste dumped into the sea that was found during the operation took the form of food scraps, plastic, glass bottle food wrap, etc. also gills and entrails of fish as well as water used for washing becomes waste during operations. The average composition of organic waste is 44.44% per trip and the composition of inorganic waste is 55.56% per trip. |
