Abstract: Thai Nguyen is the political and economic center of the Viet Bac region in particular and the Northeast midland and mountainous region of Vietnam in general, is a gateway for socio-economic exchanges between the midland and mountainous region and the Northern Delta. In recent years, most of the key economic indicators of Thai Nguyen province have achieved high growth, completed and exceeded the plan. At the present, Thai Nguyen has more than 4 thousands active enterprises. Enterprises in the province are mainly small and medium-sized; it operates mainly in the industry, construction and service trade. However, currently, awareness, understanding, and especially the organizing management accounting information system of enterprises in general and small and medium-sized enterprises in Thai Nguyen province are still limited. Enterprises have only a complete financial accounting system and the management accounting system does not have a suitable position in enterprises. The use of management accounting information to support decision-making as well as to control and manage enterprises is still lackluster. This has a great impact on managers in proactively organizing business activities under the new effective mechanism. Therefore, enterprises need to focus on organizing an effective management accounting information system to contribute to making reasonable decisions for the business.
