Abstract: The purpose of this article is to evaluate the current status of soft skills among students at the university of economics and business administration, encompassing awareness levels, existing skills, and institutional initiatives aimed at enhancing soft skills for students. this study employs a questionnaire comprising 17 items, yielding 193 valid responses. based on these findings, the article assesses certain limitations and proposes solutions to improve soft skills among students at the university. the results of this research contribute to the broader discourse on soft skills development in higher education institutions, offering insights into the effectiveness of current practices and suggesting avenues for further enhancement. the methodology employed underscores the rigor and validity of the findings, providing a robust foundation for evidence-based recommendations to optimize the cultivation of soft skills among university students. through this scholarly endeavor, the article seeks to advance the understanding and implementation of strategies geared towards fostering holistic professional development among students in the academic community.
