Abstract: |
Childhood has its own ways of seeing, thinking and feeling: nothing is more foolish than to try to substitute our ways.
-Rousseau
R. K. Narayan might be most famous for his classic story of a fictional world called Malgudi, but the author was also far ahead of his time when it came to how a child mind would think, according to an academic who argues in a new book that the Swami and friends author’s whimsical stories deliberately explore the nature of child psyche. |
