| Abstract: |
Philosophy and science have a point of contact in the search for truth. Science is in charge of describing, and philosophy is in charge of interpreting the phenomena of the universe. Truth is in all thought, while the truth in science is in experience. Philosophy aims to find the absolute truth. In essence, scientific activity is driven by questions based on three main issues: What do you want to know, how to acquire knowledge, and what is the value of that knowledge? Therefore, science must be distinct from the foundations of ontology, epistemology, and axiology. The study of mangrove ecotourism from the perspective of philosophy can be reviewed from an ontological perspective, where "Mangrove Ecotourism Development" discusses a study that always asks the "what and how" of an object. When viewed from an epistemological perspective, the study "Development of Mangrove Ecotourism" outlines a method for studying environmental characteristics and community structure of mangrove ecosystems. Axiology in science questions how the value of an object to be studied. In this study, it will be explained how the benefits of mangrove ecotourism in improving the economy of the surrounding community |
