| Abstract: |
Although advanced Machine Learning (ML) techniques have been adopted for detecting intruders, the attack remains a major threat on the Internet. The main objective of this project is to identify or detect attacks that have occurred on the network. Now the growth of social media will increase day by day. However, it is difficult to detect attacks. This project will dynamically identify the attack by analyzing information from the KDDCUP dataset. The naive bay classification algorithm is used to classify the data presented on the network. Bayesian networks are a powerful decision and reasoning tool in the event of uncertainty. A very simple form of Bayes networks is called Naive Bayes, which are particularly effective for inference tasks. We consider 3 levels of attack granularity depending on whether they are complete attacks, or to group them into 4 main categories or simply to focus on normal and abnormal behaviors. The final report is generated on the basis of Bayes networks concerning the best existing results achieved in KDD'99 |
