| Abstract: |
In the context of increasing competition for talent in the banking sector, maintaining and enhancing employee motivation has become a key factor for the sustainable development of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade (Vietcombank) in Ho Chi Minh City. This study aims to identify the factors influencing employee motivation through a practical survey method combined with theoretical foundations. Based on multivariate regression analysis, the results show that six factors have a positive and statistically significant impact on employee motivation, including: empowerment in the workplace, job design and work environment, salary and benefits plan, job control, interpersonal relationships, and financial rewards. Based on this analysis, the study proposes management implications to assist managers at Vietcombank in Ho Chi Minh City in improving human resource management effectiveness and enhancing the work performance of employees. |
