Abstract: Currently, violence is becoming quite common in most countries around the world. According to a report by the United Nations crime prevention and control agency, each year around the world, about 4-6 million students are directly involved in school violence. This data is increasing, making school violence a common problem in international education. Therefore, in recent years, many methods based on artificial intelligence and deep learning have been proposed to solve the problem of detecting violence. In this paper, we describe an overview of recently published deep learning methods including blob motion-based recognition methods, methods using convolutional neural network (CNN) models, long short-term neural network (LSTM), a two-step training method based on weak supervision data for a video altercation detection model, and a method using a multi-stream convolutional neural network (Multi-stream Convolutional neural network) Neural Networks). We also outline the difficulties, challenges, and results achieved by each of the methods listed above.
