Abstract: Materiality and audit risk are two basic and important issues in auditing financial statements. It is important for the auditor to consider the issues involved in conducting an audit of materiality and risk prior to conducting any audit. The relationship between materiality and audit risk should be considered in order to determine the nature, extent and timing of audit procedures in a reasonable manner.
