Dr. Baboo Ali completed his PhD from Ankara University Turkey, and also offered his services as an Educator and Instructor in ‘Insect Festival School’, Ankara University. He is currently working as a researcher and academician in Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University, Faculty of Agriculture. Prior to present engagement he had offered his services in the project, “Ecology Training with Insects in Primary, Middle and High School Students". Presently, he is running two European Union Projects as Research Scientist. He has published many scientific research articles in reputed journals and has been serving as Co-Editor-in-Chief in ‘COMU Journal of Agriculture Faculty (COMUJAF)’, Editorial Board Member in ‘Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University Journal of Graduate School of Natural and Applied Sciences (FBED)’, American Journal of Entomology (AJE), ‘SCIREA Journal of Agriculture’ and ‘Journal of Ecobiotechnology’. He is also the Coordinator of ‘European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). His fields of specializations are: Biological and Biotechnological Control Methods, Rangeland Entomology, Organic Farming and Insect Pests of Field Crops. He has to his credit many prestigious awards and scholarships viz ‘Souvenir’ awarded by the Mayor of Sincan Municipality Ankara, ‘PhD Fellowship’ awarded by the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey, 'Promotion of Education Fellowship', New York, USA, ‘Cultural Exchange Scholarship’ awarded by the Turkish Ministry of Education (MEB) and 'Shield of Honour' presented by the University of Agriculture Faisalabad (UAF). He reviewed and evaluated articles for Polish Journal of Environmental Studies, Entomological Research, Pakistan Journal of Agricultural Sciences and Journal of Adnan Menderes University Agricultural Faculty. He is also running different projects and offering short courses namely ‘No Bee No Honey’, 'Feed A Predator', ‘Let’s Know the Insects’, 'Teaching of Insects as Small Business' and ‘Children Are Our Future’.
