Abstract: This qualitative phenomenological study explores the challenges faced by pregnant public-school teachers in balancing their professional responsibilities with the physical and emotional demands of pregnancy. Conducted in Maramag III District, Bukidnon, Philippines, the research involved seven pregnant teachers who shared their lived experiences through in-depth interviews. Findings reveal that pregnancy-related symptoms such as fatigue, nausea, and emotional fluctuations significantly affect classroom management and teaching effectiveness. Participants employed strategies including self-care, advance lesson planning, and open communication with colleagues and administrators to manage these challenges. Institutional support, such as workload adjustments, flexible scheduling, and paid medical leave, emerged as critical to sustaining their well-being and professional engagement. These findings align with Philippine laws protecting pregnant workers from discrimination and ensuring workplace accommodations (Magna Carta of Women, Republic Act No. 7910; Expanded Maternity Leave Law), as well as international standards advocating inclusive policies for pregnant educators. The study underscores the need for educational institutions to implement supportive policies and foster environments that enable pregnant teachers to maintain their health and fulfill their duties effectively.
