| Abstract: |
The study focuses on existing tourism CoC practices in the local community in Bac Ninh province, specifying communication behaviors, tourist service attitudes, and the local culture preservation. The findings revealed that Bac Ninh community is highly appreciated for hospitality (4.07/5), politeness and friendliness (4.04/5), as well as awareness of environmental protection in tourism (4.13/5). However, certain shortcomings still exist, such as non-compliance with public regulations (3.93/5), overcrowding at tourist attractions (3.96/5), and inconsistencies in behavior towards international tourists. The study recommends strengthening community education on tourism behavior, designing and developing the Code of Conduct (CoC) for local tourism, and enhancing non-compliance monitoring and enforcement to promote the sustainable development of tourism. These solutions are expected to help Bac Ninh successfully maintain its cultural identity, improve tourism service quality, and enhance its attractiveness to visitors. |
